Punta Mita is located in the beautiful state of Nayarit, 25 miles Northwest of Puerto Vallarta, about 35-40 minutes drive from the airport. Unique in location, quality, and space. The Punta Vista condominium is for discerning individuals who want to be in Punta De Mita and prefer a secure and deluxe condo experience directly on the beach. Playa Punta De Mita, arguably the nicest beach in the area is the last beach on the protected side of the Punta De Mita peninsula. Family friendly azure swimming water is clear to the sandy bottom. Great for boogey boarding, body surfing, swimming or fishing. There are also a number of excellent surfing spots in the area, several of them within walking distance. Also, within walking distance there are a number of excellent restaurants on the beach. Enjoy a Margarita or cold beer as you watch the sunset over the Marietas Islands. There are also a number of grocery stores in the town. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available at most of the stores. Produce grown in the area includes bananas, coconuts, sugarcane, pineapple, limes, oranges, grapefruit, mangos, and avocados. Purified drinking water is available everywhere. Every morning the fishermen sell fresh fish at the little market at the harbor. Choose from Dorado (Mahi Mahi) Huachinango (Red Snapper) or whatever they recommend. It is very inexpensive, and for a few dollars you can cook or use the large gas operated BBQ next to the pool and create some amazing meals Punta Mita has truly sensational weather, Punta Mita hosts both temperate, and tropical vegetation; jungle areas and many coconut palm forests are located in and around the area. There are more than 343 days of sunshine per year with the average day time temperatures reaching into the 80’s. In the winter (November-June) the evenings can get a bit cool with summer bringing more humidity and hotter daytime temperatures. Thanks to the weather and our pristine beaches, Punta Mita has become a vacationer’s paradise all year round. The community itself is very small, quiet, and safe. They generally roll up the sidewalks early, except for eating and drinking. There is not much night time entertainment. However, the Four Season’s Resort located about 1 mile away has some night life available, and also hosts the famous Jack Nicklaus signature Golf Course. There is also a Greg Norman signature Gold Course 2.5 miles away. About 300 yards down the beach is the small harbor. There are daily tours to the Marietas Islands just offshore, you can snorkel or scuba dive in the crystal clear waters and see Giant Manta Rays and all sorts of tropical fish. You can also go on whale watching tours and get incredibly close to the Humpback Whales that migrate to the Bay of Banderas every winter. The area is famous for sport fishing ( Dorado, Marlin, Sailfish, Yellow Fin Tuna, Rooster Fish, etc). If you’re into surfing you can also take a short ride in a Ponga to one of the excellent point breaks in the area. There are many other outdoor activities available in the area such as swimming with the dolphins, a Giant Waterpark, canopy tours, horseback riding, ATV tours, tennis, etc. The Punta Vista Condominiums are known for luxurious and large open terraces, incredible views of the Bay of Banderas, Sierra Madre, Marietas Islands, and across the Bay to Puerto Vallarta.
